Hello Everyone I am Marie,a 44 year old Mother to 5 beautiful children. I was recently widowed in December 2013, where I lost my hubby suddenly to a Pulmonary Embolism. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, where by my Doctor wishes me to start on a course of Hormone Therapy. In and amongst these traumatic events I Home-Tutor all of my children. They have sat their GCSE Maths exams early and are due to sit their IGCSE Double Science exam in June of this year.. I need to stress that neither I or my late hubby had any formal teacher training experience or qualifications. It was just something that we consciously decided to do for our offspring as we felt that it was solely our responsibility. My areas of expertise are Fashion Design, Garment Construction, Illustration, Story Book Writing & Poetry. I enjoy Reading, especially things to do with Spiritual health & well-being, Law, Science & the Arts. Finally, I joined this forum to help me link with others whom are, or whom had previously gone through a similar experience to mine. I also wish to share tips with others on how I cope with the trials & tribulations of life. In other words, to further expand my support and advice base.
