I'm 36 years old and have two children a daughter aged 15 and a son who is 10. I work in a primary school as a teaching assistant/1:1 support. October 2015 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer 3 weeks after I had an operation to remove the right side of my bowel. I spent 11 months before not knowing what was wrong struggling mentally at the moment with what went on physically I'm doing good now.
