About monkeycat

I have stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to my scapula, spine, femur head and ribs. I was diagnosed in 2007, I had chemo first to shrink the tumour in my left breast, followed by a lumpectomy and removal of 15 lymph nodes, level 1 and 2. I then had 15 sessions of radiotherapy on my left breast, plus one on my scapula. I have since had two more radiotherapy sessions, one on my femur head and one on my spine ( T 5 - T7 as the cancer is in T6. Treatment consists of a monoclonal antibody injection, Denosumab which turns off the RANK Ligand gene, an aromatase inhibitor, Arimidex tablet daily and monthly Zoladex injections to stop my ovaries. My cancer is ER and PR+ and HER2 -. Cancer grade 2. I am 53 and work full time as an auditor.
