Hello, 45 yeas old female (when diagnosed).
Hematuria 3 years ago after a course of ibuprofen. (Didn’t investigate )
Then Oct 2018, after taking turmeric supplements another episode of Hematuria. ( after ultrasound and CT scan - 8cm tumour found)
Radical nephrectomy
Of right kidney on Dec 2018
Laparoscopically performed
Recovery has been tough but remarkably well so far.

Pathology confirmed Jan 2019
Grade 4 pT3a Leibovich score 8
Had an early scan on February and all clear. But consultant thought it was far too soon and another scan booked for May 2019. - was showing a single (just smaller than 1cm) lymph node right in the middle of my chest area.
Another scan in Sep 2019 - waiting results... thankfully it wasn't anything sinister.
.......today 23rd of November 2020: some updates
all clear with no evidence of local tumour recurrence or distant metastasis...
next CT March 2021....
