About Merle

Married to Richard. No kids. Retired Prison Officer , 22 years service. 56 years old. Type 2 diabetic. Lost 2 stone when I had to go on Metformin last year. Was never overweight and am now 7 stone. Had breast implants last November to put back my lack of curves. It was at a follow-up appointment with my surgeon that I mentioned a small lump. Had wide local incision and axillary surgery. Still have both my implants but my right breast is badly scarred. Shame, they were near perfect before. Ironically I volunteer in my local Cancer Research UK shop twice a week, my colleagues,2 of which have had breast cancer themselves have been invaluable in supporting me.
