In my 70s, I have very recently been told that melanoma has spread from right arm to left lung. This spread has led to cancellation of proposed sentinel node op. I was offered place in trial at Guys Hospital with Iobiotec (drug plus a vaccine) but blood tests ruled this out (showing hyponatremia). Now waiting to start 6 weekly keytruda infusion.
Clinical treatment has been excellent but from my pov there is a lack of sense that I can consult one person who knows my circumstances. I have a CNS but calls are always replied to by whoever happens to be available.
