About Maureen.55

Hello my name is Maureen. I am 62 and very young for my age. I love to laugh and spend time away in my campervan. Two months ago I went to my gp with pain in my abdomen. He thought it was gall stones and sent me for an ultra sound. The next day I was told I have kidney cancer. It had been picked up on the ultrasound. Although I consider myself to be lucky they found it. I have since had two ct scans and am waiting to find out what treatment I will have. I have had no professional to talk to to ease my thoughts. I am trying to stay positive for my family and friends. I struggle at night time though. That's why I joined this group. Maybe get some answers from people in the same position. Or someone who has been through this willing to support people like me.
