About Mart1n0

Hello I am 62 was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in November 15 and then following a routine PEC scan in Feb 16 Prostate cancer too. I paid little attention to the prostate issue as I negotiated the pretty intense H&N treatment . Got myself pretty fit and came through it as well as I could have hoped really, still being fed thru a tube in my tummy but can now drink ok so solid foods will follow soon. I didn't check out the prostate thing till I was asked to go for a bone scan, as whilst having the radiology for H&N I met a few prostate guys and they all seemed pretty chilled, what I didn't know then was they were local cases my is locally advanced and in a lymph node. I am now really concerned about the P and the length of the treatment and worst my mental state seems pretty shot so I hope to get a bit of encouragement from this site......
