Hi everyone, new here. I'm a 58 yr old single divorcee with 2 grown up daughters. Found secondary swelling in lymph node June '15, primary likely base of tongue. 2 wks into 30 sessions of rad and 6 rounds of weekly chemo. Already on PEG feeding as throat so painful to swallow and mouth sore. Lots of support but not nice living alone and going through it. This is when I miss my mum the most....even at my age.
