I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 12 years old, it was misdiagnosed for 3 years. It had spread to my voicebox,lymph nodes parathyroid glands and started spotting to my lungs. In september 2005 i had a total thyroidectomy which was 14 hours and spent over a week in intensive care. Then I had 5 radioiodine treatments. Im now in remission waiting ct scan results.
