About Loobyjayne

I am 52 with 4 grown up children and one grandchild, I developed Essential Thrombocythaemia when I was only 33. I was very poorly for about 5 years fainting all the time, having iron infusions every 4-6 weeks because I was anaemic and my Ferritin was only about 10. I take aspirin and was in the original cancer trial for anagrylide but stopped because of people having heart attacks, I’ve had 3 lots of bone marrow extracted but luckily not had it done for about 6 years now! My ET is much better now I only have the odd symptom and just take aspirin everyday.
