About Loo20

Hi I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 age 42, I had a lumpectomy, followed by chemo & radiotherapy. I was put on tamoxifen and reached my 5 years clear. However in 2012 I was suffering from what I thought was a frozen shoulder only to be told it was in fact the return of my cancer, I had a major operation to my right arm, same side breast cancer had been, I was diagnosed with advanced secondary breast cancer in my bones, I had further chemo followed by one zap of radiotherapy, followed by herceptin every 3 weeks for 18 months, ct scan showed cancer getting worse so started having kadcyla every 3 weeks which I have now been on for 2 years in November, I feel very privileged to have had extra time with family & friends. I would love to chat with other people who have been down this very long journey
