I had mastectomy 21 years ago and reconstruction using a muscle from my stomach. Last year I found a lump in the same breast I have had the lump removed but have to have another operation to remove what’s left this means I will lose my reconstruction as it will be another total mastectomy. I have been told I will need radiotherapy after . What I want to know is will I need chemotherapy as well.
