I am recently widowed, had a bit of a cough which did not respond to 3 courses of antibiotics. Doctor referred me for Xray but wanted to get house in order first & thought I was just run-down.
Was horrified when G.P. phoned me to say I needed a CAT scan as there was a shadow. Went for that then got a phone call from the Hospital saying I must have a PET scan.
Saw hospital team in the meantime at was shocked when one of those present said she Macmillan!!!
I go to hospital on Monday to see the "team" & I am terrified at what they will say!!
I am the main carer for my parents (both well over 90) I have NOT told them what is going on as they are both Physically & Mentally failing.
I had already booked to go to see my Son in AUSTRALIA & have told GP/ Hospital that I still intend to go as it might be my last chance!!!
If anyone picks up on this,what ever faith or belief please pray for me on Monday
