About Lizzieloo

Hi My Husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer in August. He had stoma surgery in Sept, which is more than likely going to be permanent. He has just finished 5 weeks Chemoradiotherapy and is due to start 3 months of Xelox chemotherapy in a couple of weeks - Happy Christmas !!! Surgery should be after this at some point - sounds complex but not totally sure what it entails as trying to take it one step at a time - which my husband is much better at doing then me !! One day at a time - though sometimes this is easier said than done …. Looks like this place to chat is really supportive and sometimes it helps to talk to others who have an understanding.
