Hi everyone I have been married to my lovely husband for just over 3 years. He has a lump on his neck which came up in December and has triggered a journey for us, not sure yet where it will take us.
Procedures so far are ultrasound, fine needle biopsy, tongue and larynx biopsies, endoscopy, MRI, CT, lymph node dissection/cyst removal for biopsy and up and down mini camera several times!
March - biopsies sent to John Radcliffe and opinion is that the lump was not cancerous but just a cyst! Back in June for check up and monitoring of a second lump. Much relieved to hear second lump appears to be harmless gland, feeling extremely lucky but will remain vigilant. Cannot fault MK general or the nhs, they have taken very good care of us.
