I am almost 55years old, with 9 children aged between 16 and 35, some adopted and was diagnosed in January 2018 with Acinic cell cancer of the parotid gland. I have had a total parotidectomy and partial neck dissection, followed 5 weeks later with another 5 hour op to shave the bones and remove more tissue with the hope of getting clear margins (still waiting to hear, next appointment on 22nd May).
