Hi, I am Libby, I am 59 years old and married with 5 kids and 3 grankids, I have lived through cancer for 24 years with my husband Jim, who was diagnosed with Wide spread testicular cancer in 1990, Jim has had 10 tumor,s removed in that time and years of Chemo, he has a large tumor left on his lower spine which they can not remove as it is wrapped around some main arteries, It is dormant at the moment and we hope it will stay that way, He has many after effects from the cancer and treatment, the worse being Severe Degenerative Arthritis of the spine and all joints,and severe pain and constant viruses etc etc, but he is alive and living the best he can, We had our own business, which we had just started and 5 lovely children all under 10 when he was diagnosed, The same day we were told our new 1 week old baby had a severe heart defect and would die without a new pioneering heart operation , Without the Macmillan Nurses and their help and love I would never have survived the stress.xxxxxxxx
