In 2009, aged 14, I had a core biopsy which I was told was a benign fibroadenoma. After a lumpectomy on my right breast I was brought back being told it was in fact a Borderline phyllodes tumour. After another surgery I was free to continue as a normal teenager.
Over the years I’ve had many fibroadenomas, recently, (12 years post ops from phyllodes) I’ve found another lump in my right breast which I was told it was another fibroadenoma, it has grown and rescanned and they have decided to do another lumpectomy.
2 weeks until lumpectomy.
