Hi, eh...yeah so I'm Kieran, I'm 29 and am a survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). I was 7 when I was diagnosed, relapsed at 10, had a bone marrow at 11 and was cured by the time I was 12. I am now 22 years since first diagnosis and 18 years post transplant. It wouldn't be honest of me if I said that I wish cancer hadn't happened to me. It was unfortunate yes but it has made me who I am today. Today I am a big kid, who loves music, singing, all things musical and my favourite stage show is Billy Elliott. What I would say to people going through, have been or know someone who has been though cancer? Grasp every day as a gift. Treat every experience, good or bad, as a chance to learn. Find the light in the dark, and lastly its ok to feel defeated, that's your body letting you rest to tackle the next day.
