Hi I’m Kelly I was diagnosed with with anal cancer last year 25th March 2025 I was told I had to have a permanent colostomy and had that a week later it was a huge shock I then had just over 5 weeks of radiotherapy and week 1and 5 had chemotherapy I have recently seen my doctors and they have said there is no sign of the cancer now I see my doctors and every 3 months now and scans will be yearly for now I am so thankful I’m here but in my head it’s still there and I can’t get used to my stoma thanks for reeding
