I am 46 years old and had a diagnosis of breast cancer in August 2018. I had ductal breast cancer which was estrogen positive and HER2 negative. I had a lumpectomy and one lymph node removed which turned out non-cancerous followed by a second lot of surgery to make sure there was adequate margin clearance. The second operation was successful and this was followed by radiotherapy.
