I am a 55 yr old artist. Mother. Skydiver. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2006. Have had 4 years and 9 months of fun, work, and good health and am now approaching another episode, with a new tumor in my Pancreas, so I will lose the
tail, my spleen, and probably 6 nasty weeks. I moved to the country from central London last summer, and have a huge garden with a duck, and 5 hens. So things are pretty well
set up for and stuff ahead. I have laid in stocks, laid by some cash, finished a painting show for Germany to open in February....now it is almost time to submit to the process.
Cancer patients don't have to be victims. The NHS has done
a great job for me so far, and I feel confident in the outcome.
Gym classes until the last minute to keep my lungs clear,
thoough I am sad they will be cutting right across my abdominals, so I will have a big gut.
