About Jill82

My lovely husband of 24 years was diagnosed with bowel cancer March 2019. He subsequently underwent surgery in April 2019 and a golf ball size tumour was successfully removed. No evidence of spread in his lymph nodes but unfortunately 2 months later, 5 tumours were discovered in the right hand side of his liver. 6 rounds of chemo - tumours grew - little buggers, 6 more rounds of different chemo and they shrunk - hallelujah! Into hospital April 2020 (during full Covid) and they injected 70% of his liver to start the regeneration of his liver, they also removed another tumour, that had been hiding in the left side. Back into hospital for the resection on the 1st July. Now home, totally washed out but so far tumour free in his liver.
