About Jay23

Triple Negative Breast Cancer DX July 2019 - Surgery 21 Aug, Stage 1, grade 3 invasive, lumpectomy wide incision, no cancer in lymph. Managing COPD, diabetes type II, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. I've said no to chemo and now contemplating saying no to radiotherapy. I've been advised whole breast radiation would be carried out, I would permanently lose min 1cm of lung top to bottom, if I got a lung infection during treatment, rad would have to continue and if I was too unwell to attend the treatment wouldn't be as effective if interrupted. Also told its my decision and no guarantees with or without treatment. Age 66 years, currently managing health.
