Hello. I’m Jane and yesterday I had a colonoscopy as part of a screening check. They found a lesion which I’m told looks nasty. I’m going to be called by the cancer nurse today. They took bloods and I’m to have a scan and an operation. They are looking to see if the cancer has spread. It’s been a dreadful shock. I’m very scared and really struggling with anxiety at the moment. I can’t eat or sleep. Very thirsty from the laxatives. I am in shock
