I am an academic psychologist, diagnosed with bowel cancer in February 2023. I was given 24-30 months from the month of diagnosis, but that is the 50% percentile, so I may last shorter or longer. I have written around 10 books maiknly n my topic of research, traumatic stress. My latest book is Applied Narrative Psychology (Cambridge UP), where I argue that telling stories is a gvood way of dealing with stress and trauma -p give it a try!
