Hi .. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2016 .. had mastectomy and reconstruction in August, sentel node clearance in September and then started Chemo in Octiber. Sadly I got a major infection in November and ended up in hospital for 16 nights with sepsis and an acute kidney injury and had to have my implant removed. Finally at the strt of December I started Chemo again ... I have had had my 5th cycle so only 1 more to go.
I have 2 young boys who are my world and an amazing fiancé who had been my rock. I am spending the next 6 months or so planning our wedding so when I return to work in September I can focus on that.
