Lost my dear dad to pancreatic cancer on July 6, 2016. Very sad ending. I wish I could say the experience was a good one but not really. The one good note I can take away from the final 6 weeks is dad's testament of faith in the Lord. That's about the only thing that pulled him through. Also the love of his family was strong. He was never alone. The lord was with him as was his family and caregivers. We were there to try and comfort him. Show your love and support to your loved ones. This is the time they need it more than ever. Remember they are the ones who have to deal with this cancer firsthand. Just only imagine what they have to go through. It does take a toal on oneself in many different ways. Hopefully you are stronger when you come out of it and God's purpose was to bring everyone closer to Him. You have to believe in the Lord and place your faith and trust in Him. That's really the only way you will get through it. God's blessings to all.
