Hi all, I am 62 years old and was diagnosed with Primary Peritaneal Cancer in April 2020. It was a very difficult time as Covid had just taken hold and I was diagnosed with non operational cancer without the support of my husband who had to wait outside in the car. It was a huge shock to myself and everyone else in my family as I thought the symptoms I had were due to Irratable Bowel Syndrome. My first lot of chemo was given using the first biopsi results. During this chemo I lost all my hair very quickly and became very poorly. I had to sleep at least 2 hours every afternoon and the fategue was overwhelming. During a short stay in hospital due to an infection i underwent another biopsy which revealed I had Bowel Cancer which was another big shock. My treatment was changed accordingly and I am now on my 7th chemo treatment. My 3 month scan showed that I am stable for the time being.
