My husband of 63 years fell unwell mid December 2019, went for Xray Jan 13 and immediately admitted into hospital. After tests, brought home by ambulance Feb 3rd. Feb 7th told by Lung Cancer Nurse at hospital appointment that husband has terminal lung cancer - technically called Left epitheioid mesothelioma staging T2NOMO. Handed a couple of leaflets and apart from returning to speak with a Chemo Doctor who said hubby could live ten to eighteen months that is all the advice and hep we havr received from anyone. Contacted MacMillan nurses by email and waiting for them to contact me. Our doctors surgery know but have made no contact with us. Is this the normal lack of care patients and their loved ones received? We are in our mid 80s and have no family close. Husband is my carer and now I am his, I guess.
