About fineanddandy

I had surgery three weeks ago and have just had the results to confirm that the 8mm area they removed from my left breast was grade 1 tubular carcinoma. I am trying to remain positive in that it was small, grade 1 and of the type that rarely spreads. I have been told I will need radiotherapy so hopefully I will meet with the oncologist in the next two weeks to understand what that will entail. It is oestrogen sensitive so have had to stop my HRT so am dreading the return of the menopausal symptoms on top of dealing with the radiotherapy and ongoing worry of it all.
