I’m the wife of a lovely husband who has suffered dreadfully and beaten cancer and then suffering again and it tears me apart seeing the devastating effects its had and are still having on my lovely husband and best friend. In 2011 he had surgery and radiotherapy for tonsil cancer, although this was successful the radiotherapy left him with ONJ and over the next few years excruciating pain with a broken crumbling jaw. He’s had a few good years following the excellent care of his ONJ at QMC, but now has prostate cancer and recently undergone brachytherapy and 3wks radiotherapy.
