About Elasticgirl

I'm 61 and had grade 1 Breast cancer in 2006. I had a mastectomy with no chemo or radio therapy and was started on Tamoxifen. I felt so unwell 6 weeks in that i spoke to my oncologist who run a computer programme inputting the details of the cancer. The result came out that statistically I was no more likely to get cancer back than anyone else. 10 years later and I found a lump in the reconstructed Breast in June. Turned out to be 2 lumps a grade 1 and a grade 3. I had a lumpectomy in July with removal of all remaining lymph nodes which were clear, as was The CT Scan. The oncologist has recommended 6 sessions of chemo using FEC then radiotherapy just in case anything has spread and isn't showing. I start the treatment this month.
