I'm a mature (in terms of years) lady in Hampshire, Southern England, diagnosed with breast cancer on 20th April 2018. I live alone but have the loving support of dog, cats, ponies, sheep, goats, geese, rhea, chicken, ducks, turkeys and rabbits. Anyone with animals will know what I mean here by "loving support". I can turn to these loyal, loving creatures when things hurt or I'm just feeling down and they will look at me with sympathetic, understanding eyes for at least 2 seconds before demanding food, drink, clean bedding, scratched ears and cuddles - and all right NOW!
I'm here because I want to be able to talk with positive people who understand what this fight is all about first hand, share information and experience, and give and receive support.
