February 2024      Diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer - Grade 1 after having a brown discharge, referred and diagnosed within 2 weeks of GP appointment

April 2024              Had full modified radical hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and lymphadenectomy

April 2024              Diagnosis  Grade 2 endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma, FIGO Stage 3A

April 2024              Histology result was all cancer removed and all 13 lymph nodes removed and tested were clear- cancer had spread outside the Uterus

May 2024               Adjuvent treatment advised - 18 weekly chemotherapy sessions, 25 daily external beam radiotherapy and 4 Brachytherapy

June 2024              1st chemo session, Paclitaxel & Carboplatin. Had a serious reaction tonthe Paclitaxel resulting in Anaphylactic Shock. Passed out, due to low

                               heartrate and lack of oxygen. Treatment stopped and referred back to Oncologist for a rethink

June 2024               Agreed new treatment plan, 4 chemotherapy sessions, 1 every 3 weeks of Docetaxel continued with 25 external radio and 4 Brachytherapy

June 2024              2nd attempt at chemo with Docetaxel and again another Anaphylactic shock. Treatment stopped and referred back to Oncologist for a treatment review on 21/6/24 

June 2024              Had Carboplatin on its own and it went well, side effects after 2 days but manageable, headache, kidney pain, felt like leaning to the left and walking on sponge,        extremely thirsty and very hungry for 2 days..... all subsided after 1 week

June 17th 2024       Had 2nd dose of Carboplatin and all went well, just waiting to see if the same side effects kick in tomorrow.... fingers crossed
