Hello i am 52 i was diagnosed with mouth cancer in October 2016 i had cancer in the mouth which showed a shadow on my right jaw and the glands in neck . The consultant told me i had to have the jaw removed and my glands to stop it spreading . they operated on me did what they had to, i was in for ten days at the Q E i was discharged then ii went back in for 7 days where they took a bone from my leg to replace the one in my jaw got infected and was on a drip for antibiotics . seem to be healing well leg still getting infected on and off district nurse comes out 2 times a week to change bandages . mouth sometimes dose not stay in line . A chain is screwed in my jaw to hold bone in place. do sometimes feel down i am not the man i was before . Do not know how to progress on just take everyday as it comes.
