Hi, like most of you here, this wasn't a place I ever wanted to be.
I have breast implant associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma. This is a high grade T-cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and its a man made cancer caused from textured breast implants.
I'm in remission. I'm doing well, though I still get a bit paranoid of lumps and bumps!
A year before my diagnosis, my husband was diagnosed with locally advanced prostate cancer. That was the most frightening time in both our lives. He's had the full works, treatment and robotic surgery but they did find tumours in two primary lymph nodes and unfortunately we are now dealing with it again :(
We remain positive. We remind ourselves that we are at least on the right conveyor belt and we both have a great medical team around us. We also have a big family who are hugely supportive.
