Hi am derek aged62 ,have been to haematology for a few months ,originally had a lump on my neck ,went to GP,who referred me ,by the time I got appointment the lump had disappeared,had other lump in curvaceous layer on my back but they thought that was just fatty lumps all blood works were normal so they left it at that.then lockdown happened,had a phone consultation recently and was asked to come in for a checkup.,consultant said to have a ct scan as a precaution,then it hit ,phone call next day to come in to discuss results ,lymph nodes swollen so had a mri scan ,result of that was lymph nodes enlarged both sides of diagprham but no other involvement,organs clear ,bones good ,blood normal so had a biopsy that confirmed follicular lymphoma,consultant said they had a clinical discussion and had decided watch and wait policy ,never asked anything ,scared to ,he just said if you must have one best one to have very treatable
