About Cornishpasty

47 year old Cornish male, diagnosed yesterday with a large benign meningioma tumour that will require surgery at some stage this year.

Struggling to get to grips with it all, not sleeping or eating well but trying to get as fit as I can before the op.

My consultant was to the point and I have to think I am in the best hands possible, have a 10 year old and a 4 year old so the thought of leaving them is the worst fear of all, also my wife is 40 this year so just hoping I am still here to celebrate with her.

The operation does not sound pleasant I am just hoping all goes well, I make it though and can get onto the road to recovery.

Looks as though I will need additional radiation as my consultant has already told me the may not be able to get it all out during surgery.

Thanks for reading.
