I had cancer of the tongue. 60% of tongue removed followed by 42 RT sessions and 6 Chemo. 7 years on, OK for now.
I have a button PEG and haven't eaten since the Op. My speech is about 25%. Otherwise life is great and I am able to do all the things I did before. Age is the only thing catching up with me now.
