About Chula

I'm 52 and for the past 18 months been suffering from IBS I gave a stool sample in October after a bad but of diarrhoea and changed my diet. I was sent to a consultant a week after Christmas who organised a colonoscopy and endoscopy then a scan for what I was told was a twisted bowel because the camera did show results. Last Friday I was told it's cancer and next week I have it removed and rescan to check it's not spread bearing in mind it's stuck to my ovaries. Complete and utter shock! And as I reflect why did the stool sample not show anything and why am I being told I'm too young. This new government campaign is useless if it is only for over 60
