Senior citizen with a working life in engineering. Now volunteer extensively as a Blood Biker in two charities, supporting the NHS with a free, to them, courier service.
Father died of cancer in the 70's, treatment was less sophisticated in those days.
Had a young grandson diagnosed with cancer just prior to covid kicking off, now clear and as dare devil as kids are at his age (10). Treatment does work, just in his case the cells weren't recognised and treatment reverted to old school.
Recently diagnosed with oesophageal cancer, done the examinations and scans. Waiting to hear about the treatment. Aug 2024
