I was diagnosed with bowel cancer at Christmas and underwent surgery. I now have a stoma bag and have chemo every other week and just coming to terms with it all.
At first I was very scared but now I'm just glad that I'm still alive, but it does make you think about your own mortality. I'm also glad that I have a loving husband who is caring for me.
