Hi. I am new to the forum. I have been in remission from small bowel cancer for 4years.
Thought I would update as I’ve not been here for a while. I had surgery last year to remove kidney stones. Should have had a follow up ct scan 3 months after but because of covid only got it in July there. Unfortunately came back with abnormalities in my lungs abdomen and pelvis. Was sent for a further scan with contrast. Went for results original consultant from ten years ago said I have either a recurrence of bowel cancer or it’s a new one which he suspects could be sarcoma. He feels after ten years in remission it’s a very late presentation. I’ve been for a biopsy and have an appointment on Tuesday for the results.
