I have sadly come to join this Cancer Club forum as my sister has recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer stage 1V.. My sister was diagnosed on 6th July 2018 soon after having an endoscopy, as she was struggling to eat or drink. She was admitted into hospital and they did a CT scan some 3 days later and delivered the shocking news to my sister in her hospital bed when she was on her own and without any prior indication her condition was serious and terminal.She is now on her 4th session of chemo as the 3rd chemo session warrants a CT scan which showed the spots on her lungs and stomach had disappeared and her nodes had shrunk. I am my sisters main and only carer as we lost both our parents one day after each other in 2013; I am hoping to get as much help and support from others on this forum going through equally difficult times.
