About Carrottops

I'm nearly 68 and was diagnosed with tumours in both breasts early 2013 although I suspected something was wrong as early as 2010. I had metastases in my lungs, liver and right hip bone. I had never felt ill and still don't! I was treated with Letrozole for 18 months, but when that stopped working I had surgery and was accepted on the Radical AZD4547 trial early 2015. Apart from a few minor side effects it has been keeping everything under control and I still feel well and am able to continue my work as a professional gardener, albeit with reduced hours and lighter duties.. I am being very closely monitored at Charing Cross hospital London, where everyone has been brilliant and it is so reassuring to know help is at hand if needed. I had always been 'scared' of doctors etc. until now. Silly me!
