Originally from Los Angeles, I've been living in Scotland since October 2009. I've ran Race for Life twice so far in memory of those I've lost and in support of my dad who has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) as well as advanced Parkinson's, I also support friends living with chronic cancers and some that are fighting for their lives.
I'm a hobbyist photographer since leaving work to care for our dog full time when he became blind. Now, though we recently lost our dog, I continue to remain unemployed as I fly back to the US frequently to help my stepmother care for my dad.
Life is too short, we are our best advocates. The best thing I can do for those who love me, is to make sure I am here to help them. I stay as healthy as I can and after living many years with endometriosis, I know if something feels really wrong with my body, I'm going to fight for my health.
