About Candid

I had a mastectomy in 2001, and had 12positive lymph nodes. I was pretty scared, as my background is in healthcare and I saw this as a 'poor' prediction for the future. However, over time I picked myself up off the floor and went on to do many things, within my new 'make the most of each day' ethic. These days, like the rest of our cancer survivor club, I travel hopefully, dealing with blips along the way as best I can and am grateful for all the support I received/receive. I am happy to be a shoulder to anyone who feels the need.
