About Bunty53

My GP diagnosed me with acid reflux/GERD in August 2019 but a variety of medications have not proved helpful. I had an endoscopy in mid October which was normal & I've also had a chest X ray, chest CT & abdominal ultrasound in November which were normal. Blood tests taken in October also were normal. Over time my symptoms have worsened plus I have lost a stone in weight & developed chronic oral thrush. I am now awaiting the results of a neck CT scan, with some trepidation, as I am now fearing that I may have a head &/or neck cancer. I do tend to worry about my health but as I have been feeling unwell for several months I can't help feeling there is a serious underlying issue. Neck CT scan was normal, as was a laryncoscopy which was also arranged, but still symptomatic - swallowing problems, fatigue, weight loss. Now booked in for Barium Swallow.
